In our view, natural coffees are best when process doesn’t completely dominate the cup. This offering from the Rutsiro district of Western Rwanda does exactly that. The natural drying amps up the sweetness and body while still allowing terroir-driven flavors of the high-grown Bourbon varieties to come through. Imagine a fruitcake with golden raisins, dried blueberries and pineapple topped with a rosewater drizzle.
