Mario Moreno’s farm is named Piedras Amarillas for the large yellow rocks that protrude from the hillside. These rocks are mostly covered from view by coffee trees since Mario and his brothers, Danny and Mabel, started cultivating the land with great care in 2008. Ingenuity and passion have given the Morenos a reputation for producing phenomenal coffee and this offering only strengthens it. Clean, light juiciness and mellow acidity set the tone for orange and apricot that turns into slightly savory spiced fig as it cools.
