This coffee is grown on the southeastern slopes of Mount Kenya by the multi-generational coffee farming Muthathai family. Exquisite processing is apparent in this lot that gets every bit of sweetness out of the SL-28 variety to balance the vibrant acidity. Sweet golden raisin aromatics turn super jammy and tropical in the cup. It takes some imagination to conjure up pineapple and papaya jam in the mind but this coffee will help you do it. Set off by blackberry and wildflower honey as it cools, this coffee is a delight to the senses.
